Song Beneath The Silence

This past week I hosted a musician at my home for a solo retreat. We spent hours sharing stories, singing songs, harmonizing, and exploring how life can be kindling for our art. It opened the door to some fun duets, and on the final day, she was encouraging my music. Which I honestly did not expect. We left the week with plans to head into the recording studio together and collaborate on a couple of my original songs! That is what I call a mutual healing and magnificent revealing.

Do you have music sitting on the back burner? It’s great timing because this Sunday at Spiritual Speakeasy, Jerome Imhoff invites us into The Song Beneath the Silence: The Spiritual Power of Music.

Together, we’ll explore the mysterious way music can open the heart, dissolve the illusion of separation, awaken memory, and help us remember something we cannot quite put into words. From ancient chants and sacred hymns to the songs that have become the soundtrack of our lives, music has always been one of humanity’s ways of reaching toward the Divine. And I can’t help but think about how perfectly this conversation arrives on the threshold of The Maiden Voyage, which launches Monday.

The Maiden Voyage is not about following a map. It is about listening. Listening beneath the noise, beneath the expectations, beneath the voices that tell us who we are supposed to be. It is about becoming still enough to hear the song that is uniquely ours, and brave enough to follow where it leads.

For this voyage, we will enter the wild, uncharted territory of the feminine soul through seven archetypes: Maiden, Muse, Mogul, Mother/Madam, Minister, Mystic, and Monarch. We will move through the chakras, through stories and shadow, through movement, music, creativity, courage, and the mysterious intelligence of the Soul.

The Divine Song always plays all along. Life is asking us to listen. And if you can, add your own voice to the music. The Maiden Voyage launches Monday, September 14. We have one spot left. If you miss the boat, no worries; we launch again in January. But when the time is right, hop on board.

Otherwise, we will see you this Sunday!

Love, Maur
