Who We Are

A group of ten women smiling and posing together indoors near large windows with trees visible outside. They are dressed in colorful and patterned summer clothing, and some are wearing jewelry.

SpeakEasy is a diverse and progressive spiritual community that shares a message of love and engages in conversations that inspire creative expression & spiritual well-being.

We Honor the Divine Mother and follow the teachings of A Course in Miracles. We see you as a unique expression of Love, capable of Divine Embodiment.

We ask that you don’t leave your beliefs, brains, or background at the door. We don’t have all the answers, but we love the questions.

We aim to speak openly about tough, tender, and truly impactful topics so we can navigate life with greater wisdom and grace.

Maureen

Maureen Muldoon is the founder and Spiritual Director of SpeakEasy—an international speaker, writer, storyteller, and songbird who believes in the miraculous power of story and archetypal work to heal and transform.

She guides women through the Maiden Voyage toward spiritual sovereignty, while honoring the men who rise in love alongside them. Maureen embodies and celebrates the healed Maiden, Muse, Mogul, Mother, Minister, Mystic, and Monarch.

Her poetic and prophetic truths are not designed to add a fresh coat of paint, but to rewire your entire motherboard. Read more from Maureen on Substack.

Maritere “Mari”

Maritere Rodriguez D'Alessio is the Communications and Education Director for SpeakEasy.  A Puerto Rican queen wearing many crowns, such as mom, wife, spiritual & yoga teacher, A Course In Miracles student & facilitator, and currently pursuing her Spiritual Counselor’s certificate. But above all, she is a beloved Child of God and pursues the Holy Spirit’s guidance at every step.

She brings to our community a background in Art and Mass Communications, with extensive experience in operations management and administration.  She is also an administrative assistant, content creator and social media administrator.

She enjoys art, theatre, singing (and has led our choir - totally guided by Spirit!), meditating in nature, she’s powered by the sun &  the ocean and she loves to laugh.

GiGi

Jeanne LaPorte, aka GiGi, sees service as a walking prayer, and she loves to pray! She has had a connection with children since a young age, perhaps because she is the second of eight children.

She retired as a Psych nurse working with children with a variety of cognitive and behavioral issues.  She now enjoys being a grandmother after surviving raising 3 children. Happy to say, they also survived!

Beth Delaney is a retired critical care nurse who enjoyed every single moment in that career. She now helps with the care of her 95-year-old young dad. She has been a grateful member of SpeakEasy Community since 2021. And a wonderful teacher of A Course in Miracles on the Miracles LIVE 365 calls.

Jeremy

Jeremy Grazzini serves as the Speakeasy Finance Director, a volunteer role in which he partners with the Board of Directors to develop budgets, present financial reports, and ensure the organization’s financial operations run smoothly behind the scenes.

Jeremy’s spiritual journey began in childhood in the United Methodist Church. While attending Northern Illinois University, he became a Peer Minister with United Campus Ministries, where he counseled students and supported worship services. During this time, he also gained valuable insight into the operational and financial aspects of running a nonprofit organization. After graduating, Jeremy explored a variety of faith communities, seeking a spiritual home that truly resonated with him.

In 2014, an invitation from a friend to attend services at Immanuel Hall proved to be a turning point. A sermon by Maureen Muldoon, thoughtfully integrating A Course in Miracles, deeply resonated with him. Jeremy now considers Speakeasy his spiritual home and is grateful to contribute to and serve this vibrant, inclusive community.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Jeremy relocated to Las Vegas in 2018. He currently works in a fast-paced role as an Investment Compliance Assistant Vice President at a Fortune 500 company. Outside of work and volunteer commitments, Jeremy enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. He believes strongly in the power of positive energy and the ability to shift our mindsets from fear to love; embracing the idea that every moment offers a fresh beginning.

Jack

Jack Rome is our awesome tech support guide, website design lead, and Sunday morning producer. He began his journey with A Course in Miracles in 2022 after years of exploring spirituality through both Eastern and Western traditions, guided by a deep curiosity for Truth.

At SpeakEasy, Jack supports Sunday Service behind the scenes, helps shape the evolving website, and occasionally steps in as a host.

Outside the digital realm, he shares original music under the name Jackintheway, weaving together the same themes of love, healing, and awakening that continue to guide his path.
