Love More Fear Less

A Course in Miracles Community Honoring all Paths to Peace.

Service Sundays at 10:30 am

Immanuel Hall, 302 South Grant Street in Hinsdale, IL.

Welcome to SpeakEasy. We are a progressive spiritual community of open-minded individuals sharing a message of love and engaging in conversations that promote well-being and personal growth.  Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, whatever you believe, and whomever you love, you are welcome here.

We sit knee to knee and heart to heart as we gather for rich conversations on spiritual topics. Using the principles of A Course in Miracles and recognizing that we are all teachers of LOVE we take the time to listen, share, and speak about Truth and spirituality.

We do not have all the answers but we love the questions and more times than not, we find the solutions in the most refreshingly and surprising place… among us. In authentic community, it is easy to see out blind spots as well as live up to our true potential.

We honor all paths to God and we ask that you don’t leave your beliefs, brains or background at the door. We have a vital community both in-person and online with our YouTube channel and podcast. Whether you come in person or connect via our virtual communities, you will find a deep conversation, thoughtful exchange, and topics that make you want to lean in. The acceptance and authenticity allow for a deeper dive into the spiritual side. Our members are passionate creators, artist, writers, poets, actors, and artisans who are all seeking to know a more intimate relationship with the great mysteries of life. Come and experience SpeakEasy for yourself and see what everyone is talking about.

Innocence

The necessary condition for the holy instant does not require that you have no thoughts that are not pure. But it does require that you have none that you would keep.  Innocence is not of your making.  It is given you the instant you would have it.

Addictions

And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today.  I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes.

Gratitude

You need to develop your weakened ability to be grateful, or you cannot appreciate God. He does not need your appreciation, but you do.  You cannot love what you do not appreciate, for fear makes appreciation impossible.
